• Electrical requirements: Voltage 120, single phase,
60Hz. AC. 20 Amp. 2 wire with ground circuit required.
Locate outlet box in the cabinet above in the lower right
hand corner, cut a 2" hole in the back right hand corner
of the cabinet above for the units cord.
• Wall construction should be a minimum of 2"x4" wood
studding and 3/8" thickness drywall or plaster/both.
• Units are designed for use above all Jenn-Air
non-grilling gas and electric ranges and cooktops (not
recommended over grill-ranges or cooktops with grilling
capability unless the range or cooktop is equipped with
downdraft ventilation).
• Outside ventilation requires hood exhaust duct. The
hood exhaust has been designed to mate with a
standard 3 1/4" x 10" duct. If round is required, a
transition adaptor must be used. Do not use less than
6" round duct.
• Maximum duct length: The total duct length of 3 1/4" x
10" or 6" round duct should not exceed 140 equivalent
feet. When calculating the total duct length add
equivalent lengths of all transitions and adaptors plus
the lengths of all straight duct sections.
• 300 Hi/ 210 Low CFM Vertical exhaust (3 1/4" x 10"
duct).
• 300 Hi/ 210 Low CFM Horizontal exhaust (3 1/4" x 10"
duct).
